Description:This is actually an isolation movement, which I don't normally recommend, but it is useful if you're already doing another version of the dead lift, because it won't eat into your recovery anywhere near as much as the SLDL.You can do the leg curl lying face down on a bench, and you just curl the weight up by lifting your heels towards your backside. Think of the bicep curl for the arms this is just the version for the legs. Focus on a full range of motion, and build the weight up gradually whilst still keeping a full range of motion. Squeeze at the top and lower slowly under control.In some gyms you can do the movement standing up, in which case you have to work one leg at a time.
